Drinni & The Dangerous Thoughts

Brand new EP Nihilism Manifest - Best að vera farinn has landed.

The EP was recorded mostly in Berlin in three all-night sessions, three nights in a row. 

Rough ideas were taken to the studio and polished into the pieces you can now listen to. 

As the title suggests the song are soaked in nihilism but in Drinni’s opinion nihilism is the best cure for existential crisis. As it says in the lyrics in the song Nothing Matters: “Nothing really matters at all, nothing has ever mattered at all, nothing will ever matter.” 

A music video for the first song, Nothing Matters, is in progress. Stay tuned.

Today a new single called Oh Well has been released for streaming. Oh Well will be featured on an EP called Nihilism Manifest - Best að vera farinn which will be released on the 20th of October.

A new Drinni & The Dangerous Thoughts EP is in progress. The EP consists of the following songs:

The four songs were recorded in Berlin between the 12th and 15th of June. Mixing has begun and we are excited to hear the final outcome. The EP is soaked in nihilism as our songs tend to be, starting with the not caring of “Nothing Matters” into the hopelessness of “We All Die” followed by the more personal “Oh Well” ending with a song in Icelandic “Alveg farinn”
